Tara Brooks (EVOLVE 1 Year Anniversary) @ Paia Bay Coffee & Bar

For our 1 year anniversary, we're bringing Tara Brooks (Desert Hearts / Subtract Music) to Maui for a night of house and techno at Paia Bay Coffee & Bar on Saturday, May 16. This is one of the most important nights in EVOLVE history, and we want the whole community there for it.

Tara Brooks headlines the evening, bringing her signature blend of deep grooves, hypnotic rhythms, and haunting melodies to the Paia Bay dancefloor. A Desert Hearts family member and Subtract Music resident, Tara has played rooms from Katerblau in Berlin to The Brooklyn Mirage to sunrise sets deep in the Burning Man playa, and her latest releases, "Frisk Dantiez & Tara Brooks Remix" and "Tell Me" with Lee Coombs, show she's as sharp in the studio as she is behind the decks. Her sound lives where the dark fuses with the light.

baby aphra provides direct support, continuing to build on what's been a breakout year on the EVOLVE stage. Calixto opens the night and sets the tone for what's ahead.

This show also marks a new chapter for EVOLVE. After a year under our Earth stage theme, we're officially moving into our Water era! All new stage design, new decorations, and a fresh look for year two. Plus, we have multiple surprises in store that we'll be announcing soon.
